Historical Points of Interest in Ciutadella, Menorca

Menorca is a part of the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean off the eastern coast of Spain. It sits to the northeast of its 'bigger sister' Majorca, and is generally considered to be quieter and more gentile than other Spanish islands - such as Majorca and Ibiza. But being smaller than some of its neighbouring islands doesn't mean that Menorca holidays are any less fun and interesting. In fact, the island has more beaches than Majorca and Ibiza combined and has a resonating history that can be seen in its two main cities: Mahon and Ciutadella.
